He has shown that he is indeed a true hero...its time that d govt. of India gets out of its slumber!! we can't let his sacrifice go unnoticed...he is an inspiration to all Indians and frankly speaking no words/ condolences can actually come even remotely close to what he has done for us...he will remain an inspiration for generations to come!!! 9. Hats off to the brave son of this land.
But the sad part is that govt. only understands the value of lives of civilians not the defenders of this country.
They will............ some day when they start loosing some of their own.
Till the all v can say is JAI HIND

  14. I wish there was something I could say which would help you all deal with this loss ..but I do understand there is nothing ..I stand as a silent spectator though deeply understand the grief you all might be going through ....being apat of the iaf family i also understand the tender hooks these men in blue stand on .if only we did not have to do so much to make people understand their value ..if only it would come from within our country fellow men ...i am sure a lot do understand but there is the others who dont seem to care untill it becomes as hue and cry and by then the value of their sacrifice is lost ...they dont do what they do for recognition but do it because they feel it from within ...

  15. Hi Manu,
Today is the day when you crossed over our dining hall the previous year (2009). I never knew, you have left for the heavenly abode till very late in the evening, believe me. But I am sangune, you are watching us from wherever you are and encouraging us to follow the saying - "when the going gets tough, the tough get going".

I keep watching the video clippings of the New Year (2008-09) that we celebrated together in Patna.

Your last minute reaction to save the Villagers in Punjab is attributed to your scrifise for the salvation of mankind. I am touched, Son.

You have been a great guy.

A basket of love from all of us Manu.
    Alok Chacha
